Carlie R. Hutchings

	Carlie R. Hutchings, 80, of Columbia, died Saturday, August 3, 2002 at St. Anthonys Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
	Mr. Hutchings was born in Tamaroa on Monday, January 30, 1922, the son of the late Marion and Mae (Harris) Hutchings.  He retired as an expeditor at McDonnel Douglas, Inc.  St. Louis, Mo. after 27 years.
	He was the widower of Virginia M. (OKeefe) Hutchings.  They were married on March 20, 1942 in Perryville, Mo.
	He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Columbia.  He served in WW II in the U.S. Army.  He was also a member of the Columbia Gymnastic Association and the Special Police of Columbia, Ill.
	He is survived by son, Donald R. (Sherry) Hutchings of Columbia; daughter, Guyla (Dean) Reichert of Columbia; son, Col. Rob K. (Brenda) Hutchings (USAF Ret.) of Columbia; daughter, Carla (John) Munton of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Deanna Hoffman, Steven Reichert, Ken Hutchings, Jeff Hutchings, Rob Hutchings, Jessica Munton and Erica Munton; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Nathan Hoffman, Abigail  and Bailey Reichert; a sister, Faye (Willard) Kellerman; loving companion, Pat Hall and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
	Funeral services were held at Bethany United Methodist Church at 9:30 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Ron Chase officiating.  Interment was at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
	Friends were invited to call Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Lawlor Funeral Home in Columbia.
